The mint greens have such a rich, almost waxy sheen that really makes the leaves pop against the vintage golds. I’m already planning another project around this palette.
I was a bit skeptical about the price, but the vintage golds have a subtle shimmer that makes my embroidery really pop. The only thing is the thread is a little thinner than I'm used to, so I had to adjust my tension.
I was a bit bummed the specific gold I wanted was out of stock, but the "notify me" list is handy. The vintage golds in the 12-yard skeins I got have a lovely sheen that works perfectly for my fall embroidery project.
