Picked up a used copy on ebay and the sheer variety of stitch textures is incredible—my embroidery has never looked this dimensional. The project section alone is worth the hunt for this out-of-print gem.

I’ve been using the digital version for reference, and the stitch diagrams are clear enough to follow even for someone with basic embroidery skills. The only downside is that it’s out of print, so you’ll have to hunt for a copy online.

Picked this up after a friend mentioned it, and the embroidery techniques are explained more clearly than I expected. I wish the binding was a bit sturdier for a book this size, but the project photos are worth it.
