Velvet Dusk is an exclusive collection of deep purples, lilac and turquoise.

Each palette is made up of twelve, individual colors in an exclusive collection for Sublime Stitching. Soie perlée is a three-ply, non-divisible, 100% spun silk made in France by Au Ver à Soie. These are wound onto stamped wood bobbins in 16 meters per spool. This is a fine, shiny thread that is strong, smooth and washable. You may just want to stare at them until inspiration strikes. That's okay. They are pretty, they are inspiring, they could decorate your studio until you're ready to try them! There are no repeats of colors across the exclusive perlée palettes.

The deep purple and lilac shades in this collection are just gorgeous together, and the silk has a beautiful sheen that makes my embroidery pop. I got the full twelve-thread palette and the turquoise accent is an unexpected but perfect contrast.
