Spun "Alger" silk thread for hand embroidery from Au Ver à Soie Paris, in a range of jewel-like shades of purple I've selected for you. Loosely plyed, this silk floss separates easily for work as fine as 1-2 strands. Bright and soft with an excellent tensile strength and smooth twist for snag-free needle working. The unrivaled quality of their raw silk means it does not abrade easily. Au Ver à Soie silks have been made by the same family since 1820!

Each skein measures 5 meters, 6 shades per range.
