She Chimp for Sublime Stitching

Do you love hand-lettered signs and also embroidery? Have you seen the movie Licorice Pizza? Exclusively for Sublime Stitching, here is a two-sided case by the same artist aka She Chimp whose hand-lettered signs provide the backdrop to Paul Thomas Anderson's most recent film. I thought it would be fun to have a case that looks like advertising but instead touts the flaws and attributes of two embroidery stitches! One side reads "Fabulous, Frustrating, French Knots" and the other side says "Shiny, Sophisticated Satin Stitch Aspirations". I know you can relate. (Please note, these cases are not individually hand-lettered, they only look like they are!)

This is an exclusive, magnet-lined tool case. The artwork is different on each side of the case. Cases available with or without embroidery tools.

Case features:
Magnet-lining to hold needles
• Elastic bands to secure tools (may be black or yellow)
• Holds any standard-size embroidery scissors (and a couple skeins of floss)
• Measures 2.75" x 4.25" (7cm x 10.8cm)

Tools include:
• Embroidery scissors w/ gold sheath
• Four embroidery needles and magnet
• Four, "This Took Forever" woven labels

I’d been looking for a case that could hold all my embroidery supplies without feeling bulky, and this one fits the bill perfectly with that two-sided layout. The fabric is sturdy enough to protect my needles and threads, which is exactly what I needed for tossing it in my bag.

The dual-sided design is such a clever use of space—I can keep my needles on one side and floss on the other without everything getting tangled. The canvas feels sturdy enough to toss in my project bag, and it’s already saving me from digging through multiple pouches.

I was a little worried it might be too small, but the two-sided design is perfect for keeping my hoops and threads separate. The painted sign artwork is even cuter in person and feels really sturdy. Love that it’s a clever nod to the Licorice Pizza vibe without being cheesy.
